File/bundle Question

  • Subject: File/bundle Question
  • From: Karl Goiser <email@hidden>

Hi all,

I'm not exactly sure if this question fits this newsgroup. I hope it does!

Directories in the file system can either be 'folders' or 'bundles'. For example, a .rtfd file looks like a document in the Finder, but is actually a directory - and NSFileManager treats it as such, but I want to treat it as a 'file'.

Is there a way, using Cocoa :-), to determine this difference?

Thanks in advance,

Karl
