It should be fairly simple to take the information from Learning Cocoa and map it to Java. A good book to start with on Java would be Bruce Eckel's Thinking in Java, available in both PDF on his website and in the bookstore.

The development docs and on-line docs for Cocoa contain both the Objective-C and Java references for the API.
