That would be up to the creativity of the developer
Aaargghh! There's nothing worse than "creativity" in a GUI context
where *conistency* is what it's all about. "Creative" GUIs are just
awful.
How is the user to know about the "creative intuitions" of the
developer?
Even if it could, how were it to know which list to delete, and
which list to keep?
I haven't really thought this completely through, but at first
glance, does it really matter which one is kept and which one is
tossed?
Of course. I have two mailboxes for the two lists. If selection
happened by chance, I had half the thread in one box, and the other
half in the other :-/
And what if I decide I keep the messages for the Apple list and
delete those for the Omni one, and then some interesting comments
are mailed only to the Omni list because other people decided to
skip the messages to Apple and keep those to Omni?
Na, the main problem is that nobody should feel so much more
important than others that he urges for answers by forcing *all*
readers of the two lists to read *his* messages twice. Most of us
read both lists, anyway, I guess.
Bye
