really gave that some thought, because it was plain that there was tons
of legacy docs and examples; but I decided to get into this because of
what Quartz can do, so there I am.
I also started from that position, albeit about 6-9 months ago. I've
been playing with Cocoa over that time, but for several months I didn't
touch it. I'm getting there, I haven't devoted that much time to it, and
it's far easier to learn than Carbon looks. There are exponentially more
API calls in Carbon, and everything just looks a bunch more complicated.
