problem with picture

Hai friends,
I am new to cocoa,and gone through the documentation
of apple and tried too. My problem is I am unable to
get a picture in the interface builder.I have to get
it
by clicking a button in IB and to get it on the NSView
and NSImageView (separately) by using the Objective-c
language.Kindly tell me the stepwise procedure.
