In WWDC Session 139 (Leveraging BSD Services in Mac OS X) was a nice
demo on how to write a GUI for BSD command line applications shown.
Since there was a lot of general stuff (process invocation, dealing
with
pipes etc.) in there I would like to know if / where this example is
available.
And what about shellshell ?
From the readme :
Introduction
------------
ShellShell is a simple GUI user interface shell for sending commands to
the
UNIX OS underneath OS X, and viewing the results. Using a simple Macro
language, you can construct dialog boxes that allow the selection of any
UNIX command-line options in a "mac-like" manner.
I have created a few sample macros. If you create macros for other UNIX
commands, please email them to me at email@hidden so I can add
them
to the distribution.
