If you are reasonably well aquainted with Cocoa, you can probably do without any examples...the doucmentation in Founcation/Reference/Classes is quite OK (the class you are looking for is NSTask) and the headers are as usual easy to follow.

In WWDC Session 139 (Leveraging BSD Services in Mac OS X) was a nice
demo on how to write a GUI for BSD command line applications shown.
Since there was a lot of general stuff (process invocation, dealing with
pipes etc.) in there I would like to know if / where this example is
available.
