Hi,

I wrote a service that is likely to generate an error message, if I
return an error string (as intended by the services API) it just shows
up in the console, so the message is not likely to be recognized by
anybody.

Question:

Who is responsible for bringing up an error alert:

1. the service (from background)

2. the applikation invoking the service (unlikely since this usually
happens automatically in a Cocoa application)

3. Apple - application default behaviour will be changed, so that errors
are shown to the user :=)
