The simple solution is to send Apple feedback asking them to put the
front drive eject button back on the CD-RW drive. Since the eject button
doesn't just open the internal CD drive's tray, but actually ejects all
removable disks, it is clearly unacceptable as a way to get the CD tray
open if you have any external removable drives!
