There are two parts. First, in the attributes of the drawer, you can resize
the drawer to be as large as you want it to be.
Second, you need to make your outline view resize automatically as its
superview changes. In the IB file, select the view, bring up the info
window, and select the Size options. Turn on autoresize horizontally and
vertically
