Hello everybody !
As soon as I've got the insane idea of creating a Cocoa VCD player for X,
I've a lot questions to ask you :-)
1) Where can I get informations on the byte order for video ?
I mean, I don't know if every Mac video board has the same order for
colors; is it RGB, BGR,GBR,GRB or whatever else ?
2) How can I initialize a NSPoint ? NSBezierPath makes, obviously, use of
them but the documentation is really poor on giving me advices... :-((
3) Is there on the net a PDF or any kinda document and/or source helping
me in showing MPG-1 videos without the help of Quicktime ? I know this
sounds kinda stupid, but I think that the most stupid thing has been done
by Apple by not giving its users the capability to see VCDs on QT for X,
just as in QT for 9 !
If anyone wants to join the open project of the VideoCD player, he is
welcome !! as far as I'm a newbie in programming fill of great will of
learning.
