I don't know about this for sure, but I thought it was a simple question of adding a background image to the folder/directory containing the app.

Initial searches have come up blank and the DiskCopy app doesn't seem to have such a feature. Using Finder, one can select an image to use for the .dmg window's background, but it appears that only a reference is being stored in the .dmg rather than a copy of the graphic.
