It's not _my_ array object, it's _Apple_ array object. (Im)mutability and
proper disctinction of them very definitely *SHOULD* be behaviour of it, but
alas from OS X 10.0 up it is not, due to the CoreFoundation mess. That's
exactly what we are in this thread speaking of.
