Hi All,
I have a question about the finderinfo flags in HFS+
as they are used in macosX.
One of the 16 flags is the "inited" bit which the
Finder sometimes clears after a Move/Copy
operation. CpMac, on the other hand, faithfully
copies it as it is.
Does anybody know what is the correct behaviour with
regards to this bit after copying
an hfs+ file on macosX?
By default, we would copy everything as is (like
CpMac), but, there is a concern that the Desktop
database might get out of sync.
