Multi-line word-wrapped text cells in NSOutlineView or NSTableView?

I think I might have seen someone ask about this before, but I can't seem to find the message or responses. Apologies if this is a repeated annoying question...

But I'm wondering if there's any easy way to get multi-line word-wrapped text in an NSOutlineView or NSTableView? I'm thinking no, since I'm under the impression that the table views are pretty much a fixed grid with every line the same height.

An app that does this is OmniOutliner, but I'm assuming that they've written their own OutlineView and probably text cell classes. I was hoping not to have to do that. But, if I do, I guess it's just more fun waiting for me :)
