Sorry for my poor English.

I mean I want to write an app to monitor a remote server from my PowerBook.
This app will alert me if the remote server is down. So it will be launched
whenever I boot up my PowerBook. However, I may be on the road and off-line.
So I want this app can check if I'm on-line before connecting to the remote
server and get errors.

Thanks,

J Lee
