Is the @"" convention an Objective-C thing, or an Apple/Objective-C thing?
That is, will I be able to use @"" strings with Objective-C implementations on other platforms (such as Linux, with or without GNUstep,
or such as a Mac OS 9 system with CodeWarrior Pro 6 or whatever)?
