Is it possible to capture key event at OS level?
I'm planning to write a program which allows
user to swap the caps lock key with ctrl key. When
you hit the caps lock key, it's the same as hitting
the ctrl key. When you hit the ctrl key, it becomes
caps lock.
I've been looking around for such information.
But unfornaturaly I haven't found any.

might be of some use to you. I haven't read it in any detail. I've
done this in the past by hacking the USB keyboard driver from Darwin CVS.
