Weird : drag&drop of url onto app icon in the Dock

Hi

again I am still trying to have my application accept url when dragged on the icon in the Dock... Right now I did not succeed, but I notice something weird, for example from Internet Explorer :
- if I drag the URL of the current page on any app (including mine of course) in the Dock, I have no feedback that the app will accept the URL
- if I drag many URL (> 15 from the history for example) and move them above the apps on the Dock, then every application on the Dock show that it will accept it... but will do nothing with it... for example dropping all those URL onto OmniWeb start it but does not open 15 pages...

So it seems possible to have application accept url but apparently it looks more like a kind of private API ?? Anyone can comment on that ?

Back with OpenStep 4.x it was possible to register the app icon into the NEXTSTEP Dock to accept drag&drop : an API was available since the app icon was considered as a regular kind of window. Why this feature is not here anymore ? I think it was really useful !!

Steve !
