Expanded Cocoa Framework for QT

Sorry about the x-post but I wasn't sure where to ask this. I also looked
through the archives of both lists and this question has sort of been asked
before but not specifically enough to elicit a meaningful answer.

I've been writing some Cocoa wrappers for QT code, some of it my own but
mostly just Carbon stuff I cribbed from Tim Monroe et al. The stuff is
starting to shape up to be generally useful, IMHO, and I'm seriously
considering contributing it to the MiscKit. I'm reluctant to do that,
however, if Apple has plans to expand the Cocoa interface to QT beyond
NSMovie and NSMovieView.

I would really appreciate any insight into Apple's plans. Does a developer
supported effort outside Apple make sense?
