Speaking for my own implementation:

MiscKit

>Is it fine to use it in a commercial product ?
YES, probably (As long as there is no GPL code in the product)

> And is it working on GNUstep ?
I don't know. Recent versions of Gnustep do not compile on my only Linux
machine and I can't be bothered to trouble shoot it. When a compile out of
the box or binary distribution of Gnustep is available, I will try again.

YES

I don't think it can be used with any GPL software due to license conflicts.
It can be used with BSD licensed code and probably with LGPL code. The same
issues exist when mixing the BSD license with GPL.
