Quit menu when Modal Sheet is showing?

  • Subject: Quit menu when Modal Sheet is showing?

I have a sheet showing on a window, and I want to be able to quit
even if that sheet is showing (since it's not important that any
decision be made.)

Strangely, the "Quit" menu item is enabled (unlike with
screen-based modal dialogs, where it's diabled.) Choosing it,
however, results in a "beep".

Does anybody know how to mess with the responder chain so it will
be handled in such a way that the modal sheet will be ignored, and
the application will be allowed to quit?
