Pre-binding Question

  • Subject: Pre-binding Question

I'm interested in learning more about pre-binding. I understand what binding is in general terms, but where is the ability to designate whether an application is pre-bound in Project Builder? How do you specify whether something should be pre-bound? It seems to be the default setting to pre-bind, but some things can turn off that ability, like link errors or the presence of a non-pre-bound (binded?) included framework.

I have some frameworks that were imported from old ProjectBuilder projects and built. When I include them in a project, I get a warning that the pre-binding is not happening because it's turned off in the frameworks. But I can't find any way to "turn binding on" in the frameworks.

Can anyone shed some light on the scenario, or point me to a good bit o' documentation on the topic?

TIA
Jeff
