I'm quite sure there's no Modem emulation built into the box. It
should be more like a ISDN card with USB port connected.
For this, I'd look into Linux' isdn package for sample code. A
full reference for the protocol between a client and a PCI-based
ISDN card is available, too. I can send you both privately, if
you want (3 - 4 MB).
In a similar attempt I tried to access a ELSA LanCom box, with
no success until today.
