Nubie question re Sketch behavior

  • Subject: Nubie question re Sketch behavior

As Apple has dropped support of MacApp, I have been looking at
Object-c and Cocoa as a replacement. My app is a drawing-app
and the example Sketch looks like a good place to start.

However I noticed what looks to me as a bug in Sketch's current behavior:
If i change the size of a sketch window the drawing "canvas"
within the window does not change.
I tried changing the size attribute in the
window's nib file but it did not work. I tried both the Obj-c and the
Java versions of Sketch. both had the bad behavior, the results of
changes
to the Obj-c nib file were less strange than those made to the Java nib
file. But nither gave the desired effect.

Is this a known problem? Is there a secret way to increase the
canvas? thanks for your help.
John
