Alas the PB team somehow can't get it work properly with the new PB; it's
slows writing programs _considerably_ (just like the lack of auto indentation
and completion: in PBWO, you just entered a '{', and the '}' occurred
automatically, properly indented; you copy/pasted a few lines, and they
re-indented properly regarding their new place, etc)
Oh, I really wish I had that! I come from a HyperCard background
where the indentation was done automatically, so I get annoyed when I
paste code and it's not indented properly. I'm not too fussed about
completion if it requires pressing alt-escape... it would perhaps be
better if it were done the way most web browsers and other apps do
it, inserting the completed class/argument name as you type and
selecting it so that you can type over it.
Well, I guess that is more for the PB list so I'd better stop there.
Oh, actually I have an unrelated (although not terribly important)
question. Is there a way of adding a form with more than two cells in
IB? I know it can be done programmatically, in fact that's what I've
done. However, it would be nice to be able to add all the cells in
IB, so I could more easily lay out the rest of the window according
to the size of the form. I haven't found a way to do this... is there
one?
