I have no idea if OmniWeb supports ftp resumes or protocol helpers, however
if you configure IE to use an FTP client like Interarchie or Transmit you
should have no troubles....at least in the area of not having to abandon
partial downloads. I can't speak to any other issues.

Suppose you are using Interarchie as your ftp helper app for IE (which you
can set in preferences:protocol helpers). Then suppose that you start a
download of a large file on Tuesday night and by Wednesday morning your ISP
cut off before your download was finished. You have a partial download
sitting on your desktop. Double clicking that download would try to resume
downloading, however your ADC FTP password has expired, so it doesn't work.

Here's what you should do (this worked for me):
Log into MemberSite again. Go to Software Download and click download on the
item that you only partially downloaded. Interarchie will open and provided
that your download location hasn't changed, it will simply pick up where it
left off with your partial download.

And...this works across servers too, so if the USA server goes down before
your download is complete, you can finish your download from the Japan
server (or whichever).

Hope this helps save you some time!
