We will be having the second monthly meeting of the Cocoa Special
Interest Group (SIG) at this month's gathering of the Houston Area Apple
Users' Group. It will take place this Saturday (October 20) on the
campus of Rice University in Houston, Texas. Our group is scheduled to
meet at 1:45 pm, but other activities start at 9 am and the general
meeting featuring a presentation from Corel starts at 11. Detailed
directions to Duncan Hall and further info about the events can be found
at
http://www.haaug.org
I plan to start the meeting with a demo of some of the new features of
Project Builder and Interface Builder that accompanied OS X 10.1. Some
of the changes are dramatic and others are small, yet pleasant. After
that brief demo, we will open the discussion for any Cocoa-related
topics you wish to discuss.
Last month, at our inaugural meeting, we had lively discussions covering
several areas of interest and I believe all involved found the gathering
enjoyable and useful. If you are interested in Cocoa and are in (or can
make it to) Houston, I hope you will join us for this fun and
educational event.
Sincerely,
David Trevas
