If there is, I'm not aware of it, but I'd love to see an example of
this - frequently defaults "getting lost" comes from the assumption that
the stuff you get back from CFPrefs is mutable (when in fact, it's not).
Ryan or Frank - if you could send an example of this, that'd be
fantastic.

Hi,
I have a similar problem on 10.1 that seems to be related to
NSUserDefaults or CFPreferences. On most machines (including mine)
everything works fine, but some folks report that some of my app's
settings are not (always) preserved on reboot or re-login in. Also,
some mentioned that my app is not the only one, but this is a general
problem for them.
Can anyone confirm that there is in fact such a bug with NSUserDefaults
or CFPreferences under 10.1?

Sometimes when I run the application I am building, it has forgotten

I am calling the sync method when my preferences window closes, so I am
not sure why it is doing this. Anyone had a problem like this, and
figured out how to solve it? I must be overlooking something...?
