You can't use EOF outside WebObjects. It is forbidden by technology and
license. Don't even consider EOF at this time. Apple has/will kill it.
Writing an EOF adapter for dBase IV would be non-trivial. You are better
off with ODBC. EOF is yet another doomed Apple proprietary technology that
was great but has been crippled and obsoleted by Apple.
