These are the Desktop Database equivalents, AFAIK, in $HOME/Library/Preferences:

.LSApplications_Backup
.LSClaimedTypes_Backup
.LSSchemes_Backup
LSApplications
LSClaimedTypes
LSSchemes

You can simply remove them.
