How to get an immediate feedback

Hi,

quite new to cocao programming i use the vermont recipes to get into Cocoa programming (and i love it ;-)
There is just a little thing :
I combined a NSSlider and an interactive NSTextField (in r3s2). But the update is only done when I leave the textField or hit return (or let the mouse go for the slider). I can't see a difference between my code and the concerned recipe. it is certainly something stupid (a beginner's error...)

thank you very much

Tom
