Seems that the drawer isn't implemented as a part of the modal window.

Sorry, I was thinking along the wrong lines. I was under the impression that modal windows were deprecated and that you really *SHOULD* move away from them, anyway. If they are modal, they normally need a very small, well-defined bit of interaction and having a drawer is, IMO, an unnecessary complication.
