Yves.

I'm not sure, and please bear in mind that I have absolutely zero
experience with EOF, but there is a bunch of code over at the GNUstep
site (the db library) which looks as though it might be a replacement
for EOF. Maybe. Head on over to http://www.gnustep.org and have a
look.
