I'm assuming you mean 'web browser' and not 'file browser' because on the Mac they're entirely different, and on the PC, they're similar.

No, ironically, we don't. Despite its widespread use in PC applications, the browser object for the Mac was removed back when OpenDoc died. As I recall, we had it first, actually, long before Windows did. But we also lost it shortly afterwards.

We have a replacement called "HTML Rendering Lib" or something (Carbon), that handles some of the basics, and we undoubtedly have some Cocoa equivalent of that.

And of course, the fine folks at Omni have a series of frameworks that do some of this. But the Mac lacks a simple, robust, Web Browser object like that found in VB.
