The first time I went through it, I had a very small understanding of C. Now that I've taken some C++ in school (a couple weeks worth of a high school AP class), I find myself understanding more and more of it. So, if you have a grounding in C, you should be fine :)

Hi,

A lot of people here seem to be working their way throught the O'Reilly
book. What's the general consensus on the quality? The first reveiws I read
said it was a waste of money but with so many using it I wonder if it's
worth a buy?

Thanks
Brad
