Jon,

I don't think that you have really read the response from Simon. No one is saying the people on the list don't want to help if someone comes and asks politely for help. But I think no one will invest his or her time in converting an example for you without having been asked POLITELY!

And maybe as soon as someone finds the time your examples will be converted. The only help you requested is converting an example with an effort of several hours. I don't think you will get any positive feedback with an request like yours: "HEY! Convert that example! Do it right now! And do it for free!".

I think Simon is right. Most of the time this news group is very informative and people are really polite on it. Please keep it this way!

Thomas.

Hi,
Since no one wants to actually help with Cocoa
and Open GL I'm e-mailing the people at Cocoa dev
center. The links you gave were ones I've already
checked the only two programs that are actually
written in Cocoa Open GL are the lesson 2 on the NeHe
page (too basic for me) and the NSGL Teapot (too
advanced). In short half those links have nothing to
do with the Open GL framework and yes I use Google
all the time to search for stuff. Please next time
just say that the post is not appropriate for this
forum instead of making it worse and condemning me
about what I should and shouldn't do and making me
look like an idiot!

Thanks, please use the last sentence for posts like
these. When I read the description for the forum it
said you can talk about anything Cocoa. I guess I was
wrong.

Jon
