Sorry to sound snarky, and I really don't mean to cause offence, but
you appear to be under a bit of a misconception about the use of this
email list, and lists in general. Although the users of this list
tend to be extremely helful (even RTFM type comments at least point
to the _right_ manual), they are human, and as such only have so many
hours in a day. On top of that, most people answering questions on
this list are doing so in their own time, at their own expense, and
out of the goodness of their own hearts. As a result of this,
specific, containable questions along the lines of "I'm having
trouble with this particular item", or "does anyone know where I can
get information on X" tend to get answered, and "Can you do my
homework for me" type questions don't. IMHO, your question seems to
fall into the latter group, hence the lack of responses.
I'll admit, there is a bit of a dearth of information about OpenGL
programming under Cocoa in the Apple docs, BUT...
Try these links...
http://developer.apple.com/samplecode/Sample_Code/Graphics_3D/Cocoa_In
itGL.htm
http://www.cocoadev.com/index.pl?search=opengl
http://www.idevgames.com/fileshow.php3?showid=189
The first two were found in less than a minute from the usual sources.
The third was the top result having done a google search on 'cocoa
opengl' - Estimated time to find? <5 seconds, and there's a buttload
of other sites listed too (2,240 hits)
I haven't bothered to check out the 'pure' openGL sites, as I'm sure
you're able to find them yourself.
This might help you find the information you're looking for. I
sincerely hope it does.
And remember. No-one here is being paid to give you information. No-
one owes you anything, with the exception of Apple who might be
(reasonably) expected to provide a bit more in the documentation
department (and I'm certain they're working on it).
If you do get the information you require, and still think it
worthwhile to convert the tutorial you originally pointed to, feel
free to go for it, and think about publishing it out yourself, out of
the goodness of _your_ own heart.
Again, I hope this does not offend.
Simon
