NSDate & NSCalendarDate

I'm playing with date classes of Cocoa.
How can I get the long date format, which is shown in the System Pref > Intern. > Date? I tried the %x, however it is not that format I expected.
I want to have something like this: Tuesday, January 1, 2001, depending the setting in System Pref.
