When to buy Apple's documentation

Hello,

I am going to buy all of Apple's documentation for OS X, including Cocoa,
Carbon, Interace Guidelines...and just about every OS X book they sell.

My question is...how long should I wait to buy them? How soon till the OS X
10.1 changes are put into these books?

Any Apple guys that think I should wait for reasons they can't tell me :)
