And don't forget the various methods on NSRunLoop that monitor ports... when an application starts, there are four or five NSMachPort messages sent to the system to glean a bunch of information (screen size, for example).

If you really want to monitor cocoa, you should log Notifications too. This picks up some stuff noisyapp doesn't...
