include a framework with application

how do i include a framework with my application?

i think i need a Frameworks folder in my app bundle, but how do i get the
framework i have on my hard drive to be put into the app bundle, and how do
i ensure that the application "knows" that this is where to find the
framework?

i'm sorry if this is an already-asked question...but i tried to search the
archives and unfortunately the word "framework" is causing me search
problems (it seems it may be indexed in a lot of messages that are not
actually related to user-developed frameworks).

cheers
and thanks
