They are _not_ the same window...The Desktop belongs to the Finder. The Dock
belongs to Dock.app. The menu bar belongs to loginwindow.app...

You can put your own window there and slide a sheet off that.

You cannot expect to get a NSWindow representing this imagined window, as
the window(s) are owned by other processes.
