Actually, there are very few changes to C to make it Objective C. Apple's book, Object-Oriented Programming and the Objective-C Language (http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/macosx/Cocoa/ObjectiveC/ObjC.pdf), is a good starting point if you already know C. The whole thing is only 194 pages, and Objective C's extensions to C are described in the 8 pages of Appendix A.
