portable Swing interfaces with InterfaceBuilder?

  • Subject: portable Swing interfaces with InterfaceBuilder?

Hi,

I'm a former NeXTSTEP/OPENSTEP developer, now using Linux, but I'm
looking to get back to MacOS X, which seems very nice!

I've been browsing the documentation for InterfaceBuilder but couldn't
find any information on whether is possible to build portable Swing
applications using InterfaceBuilder. I'd like to have the ability to
develop GUI apps on MacOS X, whose interface is written in Swing, so
they can be run on any Java platform.

Can I do this with InterfaceBuilder/ProjectBuilder today? Do you know
whether there are any plans to do this in the near future?

Best regards,
