Are you surely speaking of _exceptions_? Unix-level signals and
Cocoa-level exceptions are two beasts of quite different feather, so to
say, and if you happen to be mixing them, the strange behaviour might be
quite natural.
Would you show me a program line which "raises a system-level exception"?
