Try the HTML entity & That's AMPERSAND+a+m+p+COLON.

Whether or not IE displays something doesn't necessarily make it legitimate HTML. Apps try to be nice, which is nice, if not always standard.

Hello all, just a quick question. I'm building my Help Book and for some strange reason Help Viewer won't display the '&' character. Everywhere in my HTML page where a '&' should be there is a '?' instead. IE displays the page just fine, so i'm assuming that my web page is ok. Can Help Viewer display that character? Thanks for the help.
