On TidBITS Talk (I think) I read that iSync uses Palm's existing
conduit interface for Address Book and iCal information. That's the
only reasonable thing to do, otherwise you'd have to worry about
arbitration between the Palm HotSync mechanism and iSync.

Another interesting tidbit I ran into was that iCal has been under
development for over a year... so it should be reasonably mature by
the time it makes it out next month, I hope.
