Well, first, I'm not comfortable calling it the Anguish book.. there
were three of us....
There is an incredible amount of material to cover, and I think we've
done a good job of adding value to Apple's docs... It is most certainly
not a beginner book.. and covers a lot , but not everything (it would
take another two books of this size (1000+ pages) to do that.
It does have reference, real world experiences and some design
discussion in it. There are 3 or 4 long chapters on the view hierarchy
alone. It has examples and study cases..
What it does not have is hand holding tutorials... don't get me wrong,
I love those... and would have been happy to write that (it would have
been much easier...) both have places..
