Hello all,
I'm trying to do something which would seem very simple. I have a
drawRect method in a custom view that draws multiple items: a
background image, some images that move across the screen, and some
text. The animated images are drawn fine over the background image,
but the text for some reason is always drawn underneath the background
image so it can't be seen. Is there any way of specifying the order in
which drawRect layers different elements?
The drawing happens in whatever order your code calls the drawing
routines. If you want the text over everything, draw it last.
